Anamaria Cobo de Paci 

Ms. Anamaria Cobo de Paci was born in Quito, Ecuador, and raised by her mother in Jamaica, Queens, New York.  She currently resides in Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania. She holds Masters in College Administration and Counseling from New York University (NYU) and a Bachelors degree in Communication Arts and Business Administration from Saint John’s University.  She is currently pursuing her Ed.D. in Educational. Administration and Technology at Dowling College.  Mrs. Cobo de Paci has served as an administrator at Columbia University, Swarthmore College, University of Pennsylvania and Stony Brook Southampton.  Additionally, Ms. Cobo de Paci has served as Dean of Students, Assistant Dean of Students  and Director of two cultural centers.  Mrs. Cobo de Paci has a distinguished career of twenty years in Higher Education as an administrator, counselor, leadership trainer, researcher, and consultant..  As the former Chair of the Latino Caucus and member of the advisory board for the National Conference of Race and Ethnicity in American Higher Education. She created the first Latino Leadership Institute, which addresses issues of Latino/a student’s social, cultural, and educational transition to College.  In addition, she serves as a consultant to several faculty, administrators, and Colleges/Universities and has presented workshops and facilitated discussions on this topic.
